Robert Redford plays Johnny Hooker, a small time conman accidentally steals money from the mob. With both the mob and the law after him, Hooker escapes to Chicago – where he joins legendary con-artist Henry Gondorff (Paul Newman). Motivated by the wish for revenge, money, and most of all – the perfect scam – the two plan the biggest sting operation they ever did. Their target – mob boss Lonnegan. But when you go after the mob, there are bound to be complications along the way… The Sting boasts an incredible cast, an engaging recreation of Prohibition-era Chicago, witty humor and plot, and the memorable soundtrack of Scott Joplin’s piano ragtime.
