Alexandra Daddario (born March 16, 1986) is an American actress, known to film audiences as Annabeth Chase in the 2010 film Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. Daddario was also in The Squid and the Whale, All My Children, The Babysitters, The Attic, and The Hottest State. Daddario was born in New York City, New York and was raised on the Upper East Side; her parents are lawyers. She wanted to be an actress when she was a child but her first television role did not come about until she was 16 years old, when her boyfriend Roberto Barcelo Corrales was able to book a single episode in the role of victimized teen Laurie Lewis on All My Children. At the same time, she was a sophomore attending a traditional girls school in New York. "I was finishing my sophomore year of high school at [the Brearley School] in New York," Daddario said.
