The Big Lebowski is a Coen brothers film. As such, it is difficult to explain the plot coherently… but we’ll try. Jeff “The Dude” Lebowski, an unemployed slacker, is mistaken by two thugs for the “Big” Lebowski, a billionaire businessman with a nymphomaniac wife. Therefore, they pee on his rug. Hijinks ensue. Wait, let’s try again. Jeff “the Dude” Lebowski has two good friends: Walter, a Vietnam veteran prone to violent outbursts, and Donny, who is always told to shut up. They enjoy bowling. Together they set out to solve a blackmail case for the “Big” Lebowski. Hijinks ensue. Well, it’s a difficult film to describe. But it involves hijinks. Believe me.
