Where can I go from Your Spirit?

Where can I flee from Your presence?

If I go up to the heavens,

You're there.

If I rise on the wings of the dawn,

if I settle on the far side of the sea,

even there,

Your Hand will guide me.

There is no place you can go,

no place you can be,

where you are not in the presence

of the Lord our God.

There is no thought you can have,

no dream you can dream,

where the Lord our God does not see.

If I go up to the heavens,

You are there.
