Coraline just moved into a new home with her parents. But her parents don’t have time for her, the neighbors are weird, and the only other kid around shoves his nose where it doesn’t belong. No wonder that Coraline wants new parents! But in Coraline’s house, she actually gets her wish, when she finds a door into her Other House. Everything in her Other House is the same but different – especially her Other Mother and her Other Father, who have all the time in the world for her, but also have buttons instead of eyes. When her Other Mother steals her real parents away, it’s up to Coraline to get them back… The combination of pleasantly creepy Neil Gaiman’s story and the incredible stop-motion animation creates a horror story that’s actually enjoyable for everyone.
