Terrence Alan "Terry" Crews (born July 30, 1968) is an American actor, comedian, voice artist and retired football player who was a defensive end and linebacker in the National Football League. Aside from starring in The 6th Day, White Chicks, and Idiocracy, he is perhaps best known for his role as family patriarch Julius Rock in the UPN/CW sitcom Everybody Hates Chris. Currently, he stars as Nick Kingston-Persons on the TBS sitcom Are We There Yet?, taking over from Ice Cube. In 2010, Crews was featured in several Old Spice TV commercials for their "Odor Blocker Body Wash", directed by Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim. He also starred in his own reality show on BET titled The Family Crews which is about his everyday life with his family. The show premiered on February 21, 2010. Crews is also friends with Ice Cube.
