Jorma Christopher Taccone (born March 19, 1977) is an American comedy writer-actor-director. Taccone is one third of the sketch comedy troupe The Lonely Island along with childhood friends Andy Samberg and Akiva Schaffer. He most recently co-wrote and directed the SNL spin-off film MacGruber. Taccone was born in Berkeley, California, the son of Sue Ellen and Tony Taccone, who is the artistic director of the Berkeley Repertory Theatre. He is of Italian and Puerto Rican descent. He is a graduate of UCLA Film School. Taccone married Marielle Heller on June 30, 2007 at Mission Ranch, Carmel. Jorma's brother, Asa, often helps The Lonely Island by making music for their shorts. In the fall of 2005, Samberg, Taccone, and Schaffer joined the staff of NBC's late night variety show Saturday Night Live.
