Amy Rose Locane (born December 19, 1971) is an American television and film actress. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Locane starred as one of the original cast on the hit series Melrose Place. She played Sandy, an aspiring actress who waited tables at the show's hangout "Shooters." She left Melrose Place after the first 12 episodes of season one and was replaced by Daphne Zuniga. She also starred in the movie Airheads with Brendan Fraser and Adam Sandler. She also played a lead role in the film Cry-Baby (1990), starring Johnny Depp, and co-starred in the cult-comedy Bongwater with Luke Wilson and Jack Black, and School Ties with Brendan Fraser, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. She appeared with Dennis Hopper and Amy Irving in Carried Away. Amy Locane married Mark Bovenizer, a volunteer firefighter, in May 2008.
