Alexander Jerome Gould (born May 4, 1994) is an American television actor and voice artist. He is best known for his role as Shane Botwin on the Showtime TV series Weeds and for having provided the voice of Nemo in Pixar's Finding Nemo. Gould was born in Los Angeles, California, to Valerie and Tom Gould. He was raised Jewish. Gould began his acting career as an infant and is perhaps best known for having provided the voice of the title character of Disney/Pixar's Finding Nemo. Gould guest-starred in the television series Ally McBeal, Malcolm in the Middle, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Supernatural, and Pushing Daisies. In 2004, he starred as David Collins in the WB remake of the soap opera Dark Shadows. However, the pilot was rejected by the WB Television Network, and it was never aired. Since 2005, Gould plays the role of Shane Botwin on the Showtime dramedy series Weeds.
